The New Ministry
That the United States is identical to all previous tyrant states, in each essential element, is now incontrovertible! The latest nail in the coffin of American democracy is the voluntary submission of ALL mainstream media worldwide to the capitalist cabal.
All mainstream information outlets--print, movies, television, radio, and Internet--are now, in essence, collaborators with the fascist cabal that has seized power worldwide and is murdering workers.
| Elements of All Historical Capitalist Tyrant States
| Seizure of all political, economic, and social systems
|| Lack of justice: |
rule by fiat, not by law
| Police state: |
surveillance, criminalization of dissent
| Militarism, imperialism, fascism
|| All mainstream information outlets controlled through collaboration
A nation cannot hope to have a legitimate political-economic-social system unless there is a free press to provide oversight against corruption and crime. That element of a civilized society is now no longer functioning in any nation in the world! The capitalist cabal has destroyed ALL our constitutional rights--including the right to a free press.
In this essay, we'll examine how American mainstream press outlets have become totally complicit in the capitalist cabal's ongoing destruction of US society in general and the working class in particular. We'll first expose how the current mainstream press has become a tool of capitalist tyranny in a manner identical to how this occurred in such earlier capitalist tyrannies as Nazi Fascism. We'll conclude by examining the propaganda onslaught of the capitalist cabal against the American and world population.
|"The media in the US has undergone a protracted degeneration. During the period of the Vietnam War, critical voices within the media played a role in bringing the brutal reality of the war to the attention of the American public. In 1971, the Times' and Washington Post's publication of the Pentagon Papers helped expose the lies used to drive the American people into war in Southeast Asia.|
"The ruling class decided that would never happen again. The military and intelligence apparatus rapidly took the corporate-controlled media in hand. Even the pretense of independence from the state has been abandoned. The media has played an increasingly shameless role in each successive military intervention--the first Iraq war, the dismemberment of Yugoslavia, the 'humanitarian' air war against Serbia."

The American Mainstream Press Is Complicit With the Capitalist Cabal
All eighteenth and nineteenth century presidents, with the exception of Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, and Abraham Lincoln, were puppets of the capitalist cabals. These cabal presidents, from George Washington to William McKinley, ruled America exclusively for capitalist interests, creating wars, imperialist expansion, economic plunder through "national" banks, and increasing destruction of the working class. All three non-cabal presidents were forced to struggle against the American mainstream press, which had become a tool of the capitalists.
Thomas Jefferson, in particular, fought against and won over a complicit mainstream press that had been captured by the John Adams's administration. Having been elected (by a slender margin) to the presidency in 1796, John Adams branded all his political enemies--especially Thomas Jefferson--as traitors and began working the American people into a frenzy of super-patriotism against the French. ("If you're not with us, you're anti-American.")
|"The Sedition Act was an implied acknowledgement by the Federalists that force and coercion rather than reason and argument were to be the ultimate arbiters of political controversy in the United States. Differences of opinion were to be erased and the American mind was to be forced into an intellectual strait jacket. . . Under the Sedition Act, by expanding the definition of seditious libel, an end might be put to all organized political opposition. . . By this means, the Federalists could ensure the perpetuation of their party's control of the national government."|
J. C. Miller, Crisis in Freedom: the Alien and Sedition Acts, 1952
Adams encouraged the partisan Congress to pass a series of four laws that came to be known collectively as the Alien and Sedition Acts, which proscribed spoken or written criticism of the government, the Congress, or the President, virtually nullifying the First Amendment freedoms of speech and the press. These acts were very similar to the unconstitutional Patriot Act. 1 Employing these tyrannous acts, Adams began to have his political opponents arrested.
At the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth century, American presidents--tools of the capitalist cabal--began in earnest the deranged policy of imperialist invasion and capture of foreign territories. President William McKinley got the imperialist ball rolling by seizing the Philippine Islands for capitalist looting and militaristic incursion into Asia. The US media heartily encouraged imperialism.|
Only three twentieth century presidents managed to retain some degree of independence from the capitalist cabal: Franklin D. Roosevelt. Dwight Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy. When the cabal assassinated JFK, it put into effect a process whereby it selects both candidates of the two parties, essentially turning America into a dictatorship.
Uncle Sam, wearing the badge "World's Humane Agent," considers what to do with the Philippines as Porto Rico and Cuba look on. July 1898, Charles L. Bartholomew, Minneapolis Journal.
"There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar weekly salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities, and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."|
John Swinton, former Chief of Staff for the New York Times, took his colleagues by surprise in 1953 when he made the following statement at the New York Press Club.
Waging An Offensive Against the Complicit Mass Media
|Paid Lying: What Passes for Major Media Journalism|
by Stephen Lendman
"Today's major media journalism is biased, irresponsible, sensationalist reporting that distorts, exaggerates or misstates the truth. It's misinformation or agitprop disinformation masquerading as fact to boost circulation, readership, viewers, or listeners, and on vital issues lie about or suppress uncomfortable truths to provide unqualified support for state and/or corporate interests - to the detriment of the greater good that's always sacrificed for profits and imperial aims."Source
Waging An Offensive Against the Capitalist Cabal With Alternative Media
Fortunately, progressives are waging an offensive against the capitalist cabal through the use of alternative media. Even though most workers worldwide remain oblivious to their murder by capitalists, our task is to make truth available to all people, so that ultimately we can overcome the capitalist thugs and create a new commonwealth polity for the world.
It's encouraging that the number of progressive voices speaking out against the onslaughts of the capitalist cabal is still quite large.
"No experiment can be more interesting than that we are now trying, and which we trust will end in establishing the fact, that man may be governed by reason and truth. Our first object should therefore be, to leave open to him all the avenues to truth. The most effectual hitherto found, is the freedom of the press. It is, therefore, the first shut up by those who fear the investigation of their actions." |
Thomas Jefferson, Letter to Judge John Tyler, 1804
1 The Alien Act gave "the President virtually unlimited power over all aliens in the United States. There was no requirement that the government prove its case before a judicial authority; no provision was made for use of the writ of habeas corpus; there was no possibility of release by judicial authority. Aliens imprisoned under this Act might be removed from the country on the order of the President." J. C. Miller, Crisis in Freedom: The Alien and Sedition Acts, 1952, pp. 52, 53
