This essay recommends for the reader the medical science maxim: Ignota nulla curatio morbid: Do not attempt to cure what you do not understand). 1
Today, many throughout the world are attempting to "cure" political, economic, and social evils without understanding at all what it is they're trying to rectify. They assume that certain leaders and controlling forces are merely slight aberrations in an otherwise sound and "normal" society. Only if we change our mental perspective so that we understand that America and most of the world have been taken over wholesale by insane, demonic evildoers will we be able to "cure" our societies of this lethal plague. This essay provides the means whereby you will have the opportunity, if you are able and willing, 2 to make a complete change in your mind-set.
The essay presents psychologically transformative material in the form of exercises: elements which require your entering into them with full awareness and taking the time and effort to meditate thoughtfully on their meaning.
Exercise 1
The Poisoned Water
A Parable For Our Time
Once upon a time a band of sages--having gained an understandingof what was happening in the two realms--warned the people of the land that their evil rulers were poisoning all the wells, streams, lakes, and underground reservoirs, and that soon the poisoned water would take effect, driving all those who drank it to utter madness. Members of this small group of sages were called Perennialists.
The people of the land dismissed the Perennialists' warnings as the rantings of madmen, and not only did nothing to stop the poisoning of their water supplies, but helped the evil rulers to poison their water even more rapidly and effectively.
The Perennialist sages collected uncontaminated water and went to a secure place where they stored it. They also discovered hidden springs and set up a system to collect fresh rainwater from the heavens as well. They waited for the common, stored water to change the character of the people.
Observing their nation's people going progressively, though invisibly, mad from the poisoned water, the Perennialist sages found that people were thinking, acting, and talking in an entirely different way than before.
Yet the people had no awareness of how they were changing, no memory of what had happened, no recollection of having been warned.
When the Perennialist sages tried to talk to the people, they realized that the people thought that the Perennialists were mad; the people showed hostility or indifference, not understanding.
A few beginning students of the Perennialists (aspirants) at first drank none of the new water, but finally made the decision to drink the poisonous water because they couldn't bear the loneliness of living, behaving and thinking in a different way from everyone else. This group of students drank the poisoned water and became like the rest of the people. They forgot all about the Perennialist store of special water and the Perennialists themselves. The people of the land looked upon this group of students as madmen who had miraculously been restored to sanity.
The small band of Perennialist sages continues to live invisibly within the land, appearing to the madness-stricken people as only somewhat similar to them. The Perennialists make available to selected initiates (tested students) the experience and knowledge of pure water, of how to receive fresh water supplies, and how this water brings about a total transformation in their personality, behavior, and being.
Having meditated mindfully on this parable, determine if you're capable of recognizing and acknowledging that:
- American political, economic, and social power-systems have been taken over by psychotic thugs
- Most American people have been "poisoned" by the madness of these cabal gangsters so that they see their leaders and their society as "normal"
- It requires intelligent and assiduous effort to avoid being "infected" by the madness of our psychotic rulers
"But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat.
"We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat. "or you wouldn’t have come here."
Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
Exercise 2
In order for us to rid ourselves of the murderers and thieves that now rule over us in the mundane world, it's necessary for us to recognize that these seemingly-sane persons are actually psychopathic monsters!
|
![]() |
These monsters are responsible for the murder, impoverishment, homelessness, joblessness, and destitution of millions of humans. |
Which of these statements seems to you to be correct?
- I don't have the right to say that the world leaders pictured above are psychotic or insane.
- In an insane society such as America now is, homicidal leaders are made to appear "sane" or "normal."
| Since the early decades of the twentieth century the United States has been a pathocratic society ruled by certifiably insane thugs. One of the marks of a pathocratic society is that most citizens are infected by its psychotic rulers with the same mental derangement (psychopathology), so these demented citizens believe their society is completely normal and sane. In a nation ruled by capitalist psychopaths, ordinary psychopaths, sociopaths, and normal persons are induced to behave insanely to survive. When illegal expediencies are concocted to make a society “adaptive” to psychopathic corruption, it makes psychopaths or sociopaths of all persons lacking mental capability to make themselves immune from the infecting propaganda and corruption.

| "As a young man I was brainwashed into believing we had enemies left and right. And now that I've traveled the world, I mean you have to wonder why. Why do we constantly do this? Where is this paranoia born in us?" |
About 18% of the population constitute the pathocratic cabal, its zombie-rulers, its leader-puppets, and its underlings.
Exercise 3
|
| "Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it.”

| The psychopathic cabal, using its current Obama puppet government, is systematically and deliberately destroying the evolutionary terrestrial 5 elements of our American culture and of Western Civilization in general. | The terrifying result of this cabal's destruction of our culture is that the mental capability of masses of humans does not allow for cultural knowledge to be passed on from one generation to another. Within the last several generations, critical knowledge of our culture has not been transferred. The ignorance of the current masses is particularly calamitous in the areas of social knowledge, leading to an easily manipulable citizenry. |
Such attempts to destroy cultures and civilizations have occurred before, and the ultimate victory is always won by the progressive and positive persons and forces. Sooner or later, humankind re-awakens to its spiritual heritage--preserved by Perennialist sages 6 during the twilight periods of cultural decline, such as we are now experiencing.
To unenlightened persons, it can seem that pathocratic barbarism is currently winning in its attempts to destroy civilization, so we must utilize a wider perspective in understanding how the principles of civilized behavior are ultimately triumphant. It's absolutely essential that we re-examine the transcendent principles of civilization as bequeathed by Perennialist teachers to discern the veiled pattern in world history. Over many centuries mankind has seen varied types of psychopaths attempt to seize world dominance, only to result in their own self-destruction.
Human civilization is the evolutionary assimilation of Perennialist wisdom in all dimensions of human life. The expansion of human consciousness moves in an ebb and flow progression. Eras experiencing a retrogressive phase--such as our present age--sometimes wonder when the next period of advancement will occur. What must transpire before progression can continue is that a dynamic grouping must form around a teaching divulging an adaptation of the Perennial Tradition for that age.
"Civilizations can only be understood by those who are civilized." Alfred North Whitehead
There is no essential difference between these two psychopathic cannibals!

| "Understanding the nature of macrosocial pathological phenomena permits us to find a healthy attitude and perspective toward them, thus assisting us in protecting our minds from being poisoned by their diseased contents and the influence of their propaganda. . . . The bottom line is that we can only conquer this huge, contagious social cancer if we comprehend its essence and its etiological causes. This would eliminate the mystery of this phenomenon as its primary survival asset."

Lobaczewski's primary value in overcoming pathocracy is a detailed analysis of psychopathic rulers. He unfortunately assumes that "normal" persons in a society will at last automatically rise up against their psychopathic despots. His analysis of pathocratic societies suffers from the assumption that there is only one domain: the physical, terrestrial world and that psychopaths will inevitably seize power within this realm.
Exercise 6
Fortunately, we have Plato's study of pathocracy and psychopathic tyrants and his revelation of the two separate domains of being:
- The world of illusion, tyranny, and corruption ruled by ignorance and psychopathic terror
- The world of understanding: the intelligible world accessed by dialectical interchange containing Forms such as goodness, beauty, and justice
Through his own study of social ponerology, Plato defined disorder in the world of tyranny as polypragmosyne, the seizing of power by those who incorrectly presume they possess wisdom in all things.
In modern terms, this has been clearly illustrated in the case of the demonic cabal, which assumes that it has the understanding of how Americans--and the world--ought to order their lives and therefore possesses the mandate to seize control of American society and the world. 7
What polypragmosyne -- pathocracy as defined in this essay--means in practice is that the unskilled, unenlightened, and depraved seize the rule of a society to its detriment and final destruction. One of the essential elements of Plato's philosophy was an ongoing battle against exactly the same kind of twisted, unreal, counterfeit world that we presently face. Philosophy--the search for wisdom and truth--arises out of the resistance of the soul to its destruction by a perverted world. The situation Plato faced--and we now face--is the life-or-death of our very being.
"To be deceived or uninformed in the soul about true being means that 'the lie itself' has taken possession of 'the highest part of himself' and steeped it into 'ignorance of the soul.'"
Plato, Gorgias (382a-b)
We must realize that we're in a battle not merely for whether this particular puppet regime of the demonic cabal in 2009 starts this pre-emptive war or that or gives trillions of taxpayermoney to fat-cat bankers, but with whether or not our very being will be subverted by lies and false values. A depraved society--such as we now face--can destroy a person's soul, because the disorder of society is a disease in the psyche of its members.
Plato reminds us that our resistance to a deranged world depends for its success on a precise comprehension of those against whom we struggle. One of the requirements for discerning the true essence of our antagonists is to describe their beliefs and actions in a straightforward manner. We must, in other words, refer to what's happening today by its true nature--pathocracy--the rule by insane thugs--instead of masking it with such lies as "incompetence," "receiving false intelligence," and "well-intentioned but bungling efforts."
"The money power preys upon the nation in times of peace and conspires against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, more selfish than bureaucracy. I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. Corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its REIGN by working upon the prejudices of the people until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed." President Abraham Lincoln after
the National Banking Act of 1863 was passed
Which of these statements seems to you to be correct?
- The concept of psychosis or insanity is so complex that using these terms to describe any person is virtually impossible.
- In an insane society such as America now is, leaders can best be defined in terms of what they do. If they break the law and make sure they're not prosecuted, if they create senseless wars resulting in thousands of persons dying, then they can be said to be insane in the sense of not knowing the difference between right and wrong."
Exercise 7: Developing Higher Discernment If we're to survive in a material culture dominated by psychopathic rulers--as we now experience with the pathocratic cabal--we must develop a higher form of discernment in both the terrestrial and transcendent realms. The Perennial Tradition teaches a new way of discerning the world, different from ordinary intellect or reason, requiring training in this way of Higher Cognition, and involving both seeing subtle or "invisible" entities (Forms, meanings, relationships, ramifications) and "not-seeing"--freeing oneself from the ordinary mental and visual conditionings.
When we examine human evolution, we discover that homo sapiens' advancement has resulted from both knowledge (information) and discernment.
"In a complex society, such as those we know exist in higher primates, there are benefits to be gained for each individual member both from preserving the overall structure of the group and at the same time from exploiting and out-manoeuvring others within it. . .Thus social primates are required by the very nature of the system they create and maintain to be calculating beings; they must be able to calculate the consequences of their own behaviour, to calculate the likely behaviour of others, to calculate the balance of advantage and loss - and all this in a context where the evidence on which their calculations are based is ephemeral, ambiguous and liable to change, not least as a consequence of their own actions. In such a situation, ' social skill ' goes hand in hand with intellect, and here at last the intellectual faculties required are of the highest order. The game of social plot and counter-plot cannot be played merely on the basis of accumulated knowledge, any more than can a game of chess."
N. K. Humphrey, "The social function of intellect," in Growing Points in Ethology, editors, P.P.G. Bateson and R. A. Hinde, 1976
Exercise 8: Developing Commonwealth Psychopaths can be extremely clever, canny, and shrewd--though not intelligent in the highest sense of that word (see essay on social intelligence). Persons possessing Higher Discernment--to whatever degree--must now join forces to overcome this pathocracy responsible for such extensive human suffering. Only through such discerning communal effort can the current pathocracy be defeated.
|
Persons possessing Higher Discernment have intermittently joined forces to create institutions and communities that advanced human evolution:
|
A twenty-first century Perennialist operation is now underway to create Cooperative Commonwealth Communities as a counter-force against the American pathocracy. Following Plato's lead, we must work assiduously to see that the demonic elements within the world of pathocracy--corruption, delusion, and worker annihilation--do not affect us either on the surface or in the innermost areas of our soul. At the same time, we work in connection with the transcendental domain to bring into terrestrial instantiation a new form of commonwealth where all members are able to develop their full potential.
"The creation of the world is the victory of persuasion over force."
Plato

Notes:1 Quoted by Andrew M. Lobaczewski in his book Political Ponerology: A Science on the Nature of Evil
4 This discipline makes use of data from psychology, psychopathology, sociology, philosophy, and history to account for such phenomena as aggressive war, ethnic cleansing, genocide, and police states. The original theory and research was conducted by psychologists and psychiatrists working in Poland, Czechoslovakia, and Hungary in the years before the institution of Communism.5 Terrestrial: of or relating to the earth or its inhabitants, having a worldly, mundane character or quality Along with the terrestrial are the transcendental elements: those residing in a higher dimension that do not partake of the debilitating factors of the terrestrial domain (corruption, time, space, aging); those which are instantiated in the mundane dimension.

7
There is nothing more absurd than a Barack Obama, Henry Kissinger, a Zbibniew Brzezinski, or a Hillary Clinton--mandarins of the demonic cabal--pontificating on how the world ought to be run. The supposedly superior groups of foreign policy advisors--Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Bilderberg group--are farcical in their presumption of knowledge and understanding. The "economic experts" within the cabal--Geithner, Volcker, Bernanke, etc.--have now been exposed as idiots who have no genuine understanding of the "market" and have allowed rampant corruption to destroy the American and world economies.
