A True Democratic Congressman


Henry B. Gonzalez was born in San Antonio in 1916 to Mexican immigrant parents and rose from poverty to become the last true democratic representative in the United States Congress. Henry died in November, 2000, and it is to our benefit to celebrate his life and work.
