The German people in the 1930s failed to defeat the Nazi fascists--and they suffered slavery, death, utter defeat and subjugation!
Workers in America and worldwide are presently failing to defeat the new fascist
cabal--and their puppet politicians and militarists are making sure that workers globally are suffering death in imperialist wars, homelessness, unemployment, and subjugation to criminal capitalists.
In this essay we'll examine the quislings and collaborators worldwide who funded and supported Hitler and the Nazi war machine. We'll then explicate how current traitors are assisting capitalist fascists in an identical manner. We'll next turn our attention to the few brave progressives who struggled against the Nazi regime. Our examination will then focus on the horrible situation of our having fought in World War II to defeat capitalist fascism in Germany, Italy, and Japan, and that today that same kind of fascism has seized power worldwide but is unrecognized by most persons who therefore welcome and support it. We'll conclude by making explicit why our struggle against current capitalist fascists is a life-or-death struggle against demonic persons.
In the 1930s and 40s, it was difficult for most people to recognize that many capitalist fascists worldwide supported and assisted Hitler and the Nazi regime:
- Lord Halifax
- Sir Oswald Mosley
- King Edward VIII and his fiancée, the very cunning American Wallis Simpson
- A large number of American capitalists directly supported Adolph Hitler in his buildup of a German war machine: 1
- Chase National Bank (Rockefeller)
- National City Bank (Rockefeller)
- Standard Oil (Rockefeller)
- Texas [Oil] Company
- Davis Oil Company
- IBM (data technology for the death camps)
- SKF Industries
- General Aniline and Film
- Sterling Products
- Radio Corporation of America (RCA)
- Ford Motors
- General Motors
- International Telephone and Telegraph (ITT)
- Alcoa, the Mellon-Davis-Duke monopoly
- Hearst newspaper syndicate
- Readers Digest magazine
- Du Pont
- The Saturday Evening Post
- Sullivan and Cromwell law firm (Allen Dulles)
"A clique of U.S. industrialists is hell-bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. . . Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there." William E. Dodd, U.S. Ambassador to Germany, 1937
- Individual American Nazi sympathizers and supporters such as U.S. Congressman Prescott Bush, Dubya's and Jeb's grandfather
Under the Trading with the Enemy Act, the U.S. government took over the Union Banking Corporation, in which Prescott Bush was a director. The U.S. Alien Property Custodian seized Union Banking Corporation stock shares, all of which were owned by E. Roland Harriman, Prescott Bush, three Nazi executives, and two other associates of Prescott Bush.
President Franklin Roosevelt's Alien Property Custodian, Leo T. Crowley, signed Vesting Order Number 248 seizing the property of Prescott Bush under the Trading with the Enemy Act. The order, published in obscure government record books and kept out of the news, explained nothing about the Nazis involved; only that the Union Banking Corporation was run for the Thyssen family of Germany and/or Hungary, nationals of a designated enemy country.
This act by the U.S. government made it clear that Prescott Bush and the other directors of the Union
Banking Corp. were in essence front men for the Nazis. By keeping news of this seizure quiet, the American government avoided the more important issue: in what way were Hitler and his Nazi cohorts set up, armed, and supported by the New York and London cartel of which Prescott Bush was an executive manager?
On Oct. 28, the government issued orders seizing two Nazi front organizations run by the Bush-Harriman bank: the Holland-American Trading Corporation and the Seamless Steel Equipment Corporation.
Nazi interests in the Silesian-American Corporation, long managed by Prescott Bush and his
father-in-law, George Herbert Walker, were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act on November 17, 1942. In this action, the government announced that it was seizing only the Nazi interests, leaving the Nazis' U.S. partners to carry on the business.
These were actions taken by the U.S. government during wartime, but Prescott Bush and his collaborators had
already played a central role in financing and arming Adolf Hitler for his takeover of Germany. Harriman,
Bush and the others in the cabal had financed the buildup of Nazi war industries for the conquest of Europe
and war against the U.S.A. They had also helped in the development of Nazi genocide theories and racial propaganda,
with the slave labor and extermination camps as the result.
The whole of Europe, including fascists in the
United Kingdom, collaborated with the Nazis during World War II: Italy, Spain, France,
Hungary, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Turkey, Romania, Denmark and
Switzerland. To one degree or another, all these nations threw themselves in the arms of the powerful and nouveaux riches Nazis.
| "The Office of War Information published millions of words, thousands of pamphlets, posters and other material, most of it very valuable and all of it intended to inspire the people and raise the morale of the soldiers of production and the soldiers of the field; but it is also a fact that to the date of this writing the OWI did not publish a single pamphlet, poster, broadside or paper telling either the civilian population or the men and women in uniform what Fascism really is, what the forces are behind the political and military movements generally known as Fascism, who puts up the money, who make the tremendous profits which Fascism has paid its backers in Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and other nations. Certainly when it comes to relating foreign Fascism with native American Fascism there is a conspiracy of silence in which the OWI, the American press, and all the forces of reaction in America are united. Outside of a few books, a few pamphlets, and a few articles in the very small independent weekly press which reaches only a few thousand readers, not one word on this subject has been printed, and not one word has been heard over any of the big commercial radio stations."|

Americans Who Fought Against Fascism Before and During World War II
A few progressives--a remarkable few-- denounced and fought against fascism during the 1930s and 1940s. As explained in the quotation above, most persons within the allied forces--both military and civilian--were almost totally unaware of the evil force against which they were fighting. This is one of the major reasons why the same form of capitalist fascism was able to seize power throughout the world before and after World War II: the people were not aware of the nature and tactics of imperialist fascism.
George Seldes (1890-1995) was one of the most courageous progressives during the 1920's and 30's and during World War II. For his fearless reporting and his refusal to be censored, he was officially expelled from the Soviet Union in 1923 and from Italy in 1925.
"In 1929, Seldes became a freelance reporter and author, subsequently writing a series of books and criticisms about his years as a foreign correspondent, and the issues of censorship, suppression and distortion in the press. During the late 1930s he had one more stint as a foreign correspondent, along with his wife Helen, for the New York Post, in Spain during the Spanish Civil War.
"In 1940, Seldes co-founded a weekly newsletter, In Fact, subtitled 'an Antidote to Falsehoods in the Daily Press.' In it, he attacked corporate malfeasance, often using governmental documents from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). He exposed, issue after issue, the health hazards of cigarettes and attacked the mainstream press for suppressing such news, blaming the newspapers' heavy dependence on cigarette advertising. He cited J. Edgar Hoover and the FBI for anti-union campaigns. He brought attention to how the National Association of Manufacturers was able to use its advertising dollars to produce news stories favorable to its members and to suppress news stories unfavorable to them.
"Having both staunch admirers and strong critics, Seldes influenced many younger journalists. He received an award for professional excellence from the Association for Education in Journalism in 1980, and a George Polk Award for his life's work in 1981. Seldes also served on the board of Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR)." 2
Upton Sinclair, Jr. (1878-1968) was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American progressive author who wrote over 90 books, acquiring particular fame for his 1906 muckraking novel The Jungle. It exposed conditions in the U.S. meat packing industry, causing a public uproar that contributed in part to the passage a few months later of the 1906 Pure Food and Drug Act and the Meat Inspection Act. Sinclair ran for Governor of California in 1934. His campaign plan was called End Poverty in California, or EPIC, based on the self-help cooperatives. EPIC proposed to take the state's idle farmland and factories and turn them into worker co-ops. Providing an alternative to the Wall Street-based economy resonated with the public. Some 2,000 EPIC clubs sprang up. Sinclair won the Democratic primary and received 879,000 votes, but California's capitalists provided $10 million dollars to defeat him. EPIC--and basically the American cooperative movement--died with Sinclair's campaign.
"Radical criticism of the press was an integral component of the many large social movements of the Progressive Era, which sought to resist the effects of accelerating capitalist development. It was a time of striking similarity to the present, mirroring in particular the corruption of democracy by political and economic elites whose control over the media strangles public awareness, debate, and activism. However, unlike today, radical criticism of capitalist journalism was a dominant theme on the left during the Progressive Era, particularly in the socialist, anarchist, and progressive press. This was the Golden Age of radical press criticism, and Upton Sinclair was at its epicenter." 3|
Upton Sinclair's Lanny Budd series of novels provided one of the best sources of information concerning the events and intrigues that led up to and continued during the second world war. These novels made clear how France, England, and the United States failed to provide support for the Spanish republic--and thus allowed Francisco Franco's murderous brand of fascism to come to power. Sinclair's Lanny Budd novels provided insight into who the fascists were in Britain, France, Italy, and Germany
Following the 1890 gilded age, America experienced a Progressive Era which extended from 1900 to 1955. During this period, the excesses of monopoly capitalism were exposed and condemned by a number of farsighted thinkers, such as Upton Sinclair, Jane Addams, Charles Beard, and Eleanor Roosevelt, to mention only a few. Their efforts at reform resulted in a significant mass of progressive legislation and the creation of New Deal institutions such as Social Security.
The American Progressive Era ended about 1955 because Americans in general failed to advance mentally, spiritually, and socially beyond a certain very limited level.
Charles Beard's 1913 study of the financial interests of the drafters of the United States Constitution (An Economic Interpretation of the Constitution) is still radical today, since he proposed that the U.S. Constitution was the product of a coup d'etat by a plutocratic cabal composed of Alexander Hamilton and John Adams, among others.
To genuinely patriotic American workers and the laboring class worldwide, it is appalling and puzzling how most ordinary people, the mainstream press as a whole, and almost all political and economic "leaders" are supporting the current fascist cabal.
|Capitalist Counter-Revolutionaries and Fascist Collaborators
Instead of denouncing and struggling against the capitalists fascists, all these groups foment murder of duly-elected foreign leaders such as Saddam Hussein, Muammar Gaddafi, Bashar Hafez al-Assad, and the Iranian leaders.
Western Civilization as a whole has been destroyed by the international
demonic cabal centered around the Rockefeller interests, the British and Dutch royals, the Saudi oil rulers, the Rothschild conglomerate, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Du Pont, Harriman, Kuhn-Loeb, and other groupings, including their hirelings such as the Bush family. This junta took control of the political, financial, and cultural life of America in the first two decades of the twentieth century.
This cabal now uses its military supremacy to wage unending, pre-emptive wars on any nation it sees as threatening its economic and military power.
|America Is Already a Fascist State
Most Germans during the Hitler Nazi regime didn't realize they were living under a fascist dictatorship; they thought at first that it was the best time of their lives. 4 It was only much later, when reality came crashing down on them as Germany began to lose the war, that they realized they'd been living as virtual slaves under a totalitarian regime.
Most Americans today don't realize that they're living under a fascist dictatorship. They're living lives of inane pleasure and complete ignorance of what's going on in the world, assuming that they can remain completely oblivious and still be free and safe. Meanwhile, capitalist fascists who've seized the political and economic reins of power are systematically murdering the working class worldwide while amassing their billions by looting domestically and contriving imperialist wars internationally. Capitalistic fascism acts as a cancer on the body politic,
destroying its host.
Fortunately, there are a few contemporary progressives who are fighting against capitalist fascism. The life-or-death question is: Will American workers and workers worldwide gain sufficient intelligence in time to save their lives by implementing the only solution to the present world situation.

4 Milton Mayer's book, They Thought They Were Free, concerns Germans still living after World War II who had been members of the Nazi Party. Mayer came to know them and studied their lives and attitudes. His book revealed that Germans living under the Nazi regime at first thought they were perfectly free and living under an excellent political system.
